When designers update their showrooms, they’re combining their knowledge of national trends and local preferences. According to Jason Miller of Weeks & Mitchell Construction, interiors in the Valley are moving toward colors and textures that are more native to the area. He states, “People in the Valley are starting to remodel in a desert contemporary design. It’s uncluttered and minimalist, featuring warmer tones, visual textures, natural elements, and a pop of color.”
With flooring as a fixture, selections need to be current yet remain relevant, which means choosing installations that are at the
beginning of a design cycle.
Weeks & Mitchell recently renovated their Ray Road design center to give homeowners a sense of the up-and-coming flooring
fashions, including mixand-match, loved in looks, and neutral tones.
Check out the latest in flooring materials at Weeks & Mitchell Construction. They’re open 10 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, and are located at 4810 E. Ray Rd, Suite 5 in Ahwatukee.
