We’re excited that one of the homes we remodeled was featured in Ocotillo Living’s Publication May edition. Check out the bathroom we designed, which includes a unique wet room within the master bathroom. Below is the Article and images as see in the May, 2020 edition of the Ocotillo Living Magazine.
The owners of this beautiful home hired Kevin Mitchell of Weeks & Mitchell Construction to design three functional bathroom spaces for them, which included a unique wet room within the master bathroom. Material selections were then guided by their in-house design team, who worked with the homeowners to achieve the finished interior in each space.
The wet room contains both an open shower and a freestanding bathtub within glass. With its minimalist design and clean, tiled surfaces, a wet room concept gives the room a spalike feel. The monochromatic pallet invokes a tranquil feeling that ties beautifully to the rest of the home. Agreeable Gray, the paint color from Sherwin Williams, works to seamlessly blend warm and cool tones together, while the natural quartz countertops from Cambria complement the timeless look of shaker-style cabinetry.
This design is anchored by both porcelain linen-textured tiles from Monterrey Tile and a stone look from Arizona Tile. The off-white tiles with visual textures create a warm, comfortable environment. The mixture of two mosaics from Bedrosians Tile creates a calm serenity and pairs well with the brilliant stainless fixtures offered by the Delta Faucet Company. The addition of a window in the master bathroom supports more natural light, adding depth and dimension to the unique space.
All of these details blend together to create a serene space, perfect for an evening of relaxation.
